Boosted Plus Vs Boosted Stealth. Which Boosted Longboard Is Better?

Posted on May 22, 2022 by Cecil Andrews

Friends can sometimes turn into foes when they face each other head to head…

I’m talking about the Boosted Boards Stealth and Plus. They may have been friends before, but today they are going to fight each other.

Find out which one deserves to be called the “Best Boosted Longboard!”

Both of these boards cost a lot of money, so if you had to choose one, which one would you get?

Let’s find out!

Boosted Stealth

When it comes to Boosted, the Stealth is the best. “Pinnacle of Performance” is an attribute that Boosted posts on their website.

Even though it’s expensive, it’s a damn beast.

Performance

The Stealth goes 24 miles per hour. How quick!

Even though there are faster electric skateboards, 24 mph is all you really need. (Trust me, going faster is scary, unsafe, and dangerous.)

As for range, the Stealth has Boosted’s “Extended Range Battery,” which gives it a solid 14-mile range.

And last but not least, the rate of climbing hills, which is 25%.

Overall, it works great and is just as good as the best electric skateboards on the market.

Price

The price of the Boosted Stealth is a whopping $1,599.

That’s a whole lot of money. Even though everyone knows that electric skateboards aren’t cheap, many people still think it’s risky to spend $1,600 on one.

I just finished writing an article about whether or not “boosted boards are worth it.”

The answer is, “Hell, yeah!”

Just make sure you have enough money.

Boosted Plus

It’s called the “New Classic.” The Plus is Boosted’s first electric longboard, and riders all over the world fell in love with it. The board has great controls, is very safe, and is very comfortable.

Performance

The Boosted Plus is a lot like its longboard brother, the Boosted Stealth, in terms of how well it works.

The Plus can go as fast as 22 mph, which is only 2 mph less than the stealth.

Since the battery and range are the same, the Plus has a range of 14 miles.

And finally, hill-climbing, which has the same 25 percent incline rate as the Stealth.

Price

The price of the Plus is $1,399.

The Boosted Stealth costs $200 more. The price is still high, but $200 is a lot of money to save (to most people).

You can do a lot of things with $1,399! Spend it on a tropical vacation, a brand-new iPhone 11 Max Pro, a gym membership for a year, or a course at a local community college.

No matter what, the Plus is a pretty good board.

What’s The Same?

Both boards look eerily alike.

So much so that you would think they are the same if it weren’t for the colors…

  • •Weight – 17 lbs
  • •Deck length – 38 inches
  • •Almost same motor size (100W difference)
  • •Battery – Extended Range
  • •Range – 14 miles
  • •Hill Climb Rate – 25%
  • •Deck – Super Flex Composite
  • •Brakes – Regenerative
  • •Wheels – Boosted Stratus 85mm

How Is It Different? What kind of board should you get?

Even though both boards are great, there isn’t much difference between them:

  • •Top speed – (22 mph for Plus, 24 mph for Stealth)
  • •Ride modes – (Plus has 4, Stealth has 5)
  • •Color – (Plus is Orange, Stealth is Black)
  • •Price – (Stealth – $1,599, Plus – $1,399)

And in the end, is this difference really worth $200?

In my view…

Hell no. Take the Boosted Plus and you’ll save some cash. The Stealth is a beast, but both boards have great power, speed, and acceleration and handle about the same.

You can’t go wrong with either one, and if you choose the Stealth, you will be just as happy.

I just want to help you save $200.
